Before I became a triathlete I was a runner. It started in middle school and continued through high school where I ran cross country and track. After high school I ran for Oregon State University for 2 1/2 years. When I was done running for OSU I was burned out of running and had a hard time finding motivation to get out of the house and run. I had lost my love for it. This was really hard on me because I am a person that has to be competing. So it was then time to find something else that I would enjoy and be able to competitively compete in.
